Sinus lift

Sinus lift

Sinus lift is a surgical procedure used in implant dentistry, that aims to increase the bone volume in the lateral area of the maxilla, when the bone is not sufficient, by altering the achitecture of the maxillary sinus. When teeth are lost, there is an automatic bone loss. The longer the time without teeth, the more probable a sinus lift is needed in order to have enough bone to support dental implants.

Digital stage

This type of procedure is planned together with the dental implants position, using a CBCT of the patient ( cone beam computer tomography ). If necessary a surgical guide can be 3D printed to guide the implant position.

Accelerated healing

We always go for the procedure that gets the job done, with the least trauma. In complex cases however we use PRP therapy, that uses membranes fabricated from the patients's blood to speed up the healing.

Stress-free

If you are afraid of surgical procedures, you are not the only one. It's a natural thing after all, unless this anxiety is preventing you from getting a treatment you really need. The solution for this kind of situations is simple. We use general anaesthesia or sedation to completely eliminate anxiety and mental discomfort.
